OUR SERVICES

Vestibular Rehabilitation

When your world won’t stop spinning — we help it steady again.

If you’re experiencing dizziness, imbalance, or motion sensitivity, vestibular rehabilitation can help you regain control. You’ll work with a vestibular expert who understands the anxiety and frustration that come with feeling “off.”

Orthopedic Rehabilitation

Because your body deserves to feel strong, aligned, and ready for real life.

From joint pain and post-surgical recovery to age-related balance issues, our orthopedic and functional training programs are built to help you move better — not just during sessions, but every day.

Concussion Therapy

You don’t have to “just rest” forever — let’s get your brain and body moving safely.

Concussions affect everything from focus and mood to balance and energy. Our concussion rehab approach is evidence-based and paced to your nervous system’s needs — not a one-size-fits-all protocol.

Individualized Exercises

Every plan of care is fully personalized to your unique symptoms and goals. Our approach to Physical Therapy is holistic, empowering you to take control of your recovery. There’s no one-size-fits-all solution — we collaborate with you to discover what truly works for your body and lifestyle.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions answered.

Do we take insurance?

Through our experience, we have found that insurance companies create limitations on the type of care that we would like to provide to our clients, such as 1-on-1 services. Majority of the companies that accept insurance must double or triple their clients, impacting the quality of your treatment and your overall outcome. With Steady Steps Physical Therapy, we plan to be there with you every step of the way, including being accessible via phone during our assistance hours and advocating for you as needed. Therefore, we are strictly "cash-pay" (please fill out the form and inquire about pricing) and we are considered "out-of-network" providers. We will provide a superbill for every appointment that can be submitted to your insurance company for out-of-network reimbursement. However, Steady Steps Physical Therapy cannot 100% guarantee that reimbursement as it depends on your "out-of-network" benefits.

Why a vestibular therapist vs a general therapist?

Vestibular therapists have specialized training and use specialized equipment, such as infrared frenzel goggles, in order to properly diagnose and treat your vestibular disorders. A vestibular therapist will know which referral sources (ENT, neurologist, audiologist, etc.) and other resources are best for you and adequately educate you on how to better manage your condition.

What should I expect during my first visit?

Vestibular Care with Dr. DeJ'a Crippen, PT, DPT: All initial visits will take place in-person as a mobile outpatient vestibular evaluation. These initial evaluations are very thorough and will last approximately 60-90mins depending on the findings from your examination. You should expect to receive treatment on Day 1 and to leave feeling more confident on how to handle your condition. DeJ'a will educate you on your expected plan of care and you may be provided with a home exercise program as well as things to avoid (or not avoid) for a faster recovery time. During this time, we will determine if follow up visits are necessary and these may be completed via Telehealth based on DeJ'a's clinical judgement. If you are suitable for Telehealth services, you are expected to have reliable wifi/internet connection, a device (phone, tablet/iPad, laptop, or desktop) with a camera and microphone, and have access to a quiet environment. Some vestibular patients recover in just 1-2 visits!

Orthopedic Care with Dr. Zachary Kauffman: Initial evaluations may be virtual via Telehealth OR in-person and will last approximately 60 mins depending on your findings from your examination. Zach's goal is to figure out what is limiting you in life and get you back to your prior level of function by helping you accomplish your physical goals! You will be educated on your plan of care and with expected outcomes, provided with a home exercise program, and instructed on tools/equipment to obtain as necessary. Expect to be treated and to begin exercise on the same day to give you the highest value! Please be sure to wear something comfortable. If follow up visits are necessary, these may be completed via Telehealth based on Zach's clinical judgement. If you are suitable for Telehealth services, you will be expected to have reliable wifi/internet connection, a device (phone, tablet/iPad, laptop, or desktop) with a camera and microphone, and have access to a quiet environment.
